In Friday's issue of the New York Times, there was an interesting article (pointed out to my AP US Gov. class by Mr. Chesler) which featured graphs of how many times each Presidential party mentioned certain words. It was interesting to see the amount of times the Obama camp said "change" or the McCain team mention "God". However, I found this article to relevant to these videos, which express each convention in just under two minutes.

Democratic:

Republican:

They aren't very accurate, but you can laugh and appreciate them.

Also, if you're interested in the original New York times article:

yes I read the New York Times everyday. Liberal or Conservative, Democrat or Republican, Indepedents or moderates can all agree that the NY Times is a liberal newspaper. Anyways, so I did read this article. I found it interesting and yet not surprised at all that the word the Democrats used the most was "change" although the truth is that if you look at Obama's politics and his policies and his plan for our country, yes he will bring change. Change for the worse though, not change for the better. There is only one ticket in this election that will bring TRUE change and that is the McCain-Palin ticket.
