Despite the joy of Thanksgiving, many families across the globe are still in shock and awe at the terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

It's unfortunate that these attacks took place on such a happy day for many. While opinions may vary on when this conflict will end, all can agree that it needs to be over soon.

It seems that no matter how much change our country has, our vapid consumerism will always show at the forefront. I think this shows the biggest problem with the American people, their lack of concern towards others.
